Conducting Master Course in Zacatecas/México

We are happy to announce our collaboration at the 3rd Conducting Master Course in Zacatecas/México, which will take place from 12 – 18 March 2018 with Joerg Birhance and the Orquesta de Cámara del Estado de Zacatecas and the Coro del Estado de Zacatecas.

This workshop will be an opportunity for 8 conductors to develop, reassess, and improve one’s musical language and “conducting baggage”.

The workshop includes orchestral and choir rehearsals, as well as lectures in score analysis and conducting technique, and will culminate in final concerts on March 17 and 18.

Each participant will conduct in both concerts. Each participant will conduct one movement of Beethoven Symphony No 9 in one of the two final concerts and one part of the remainder of the program for the other concert.

Program:

  • W.A. Mozart, Overture Don Giovanni K527
